Just saw it on WDSU. No link, just a Facebook post.

They mentioned it on WWL radio. Apparently one of the TEs got pushed back into him. Haven’t heard anything on severity.

He was able to walk off the field with a trainer, that's the only update I've seen. Hopefully not severe

Kendre Miller and Devin Neal both did participate

I have PTSD from watching Deuce walk off the field under his own power 1 game then learning the next day it was a torn ACL

This was after the high ball Brees threw him where he tried to go up to get it and landed awkwardly, right?

I don't remember the exact situation... I just remember he got up & walked off... we thought he'd be fine

Next thing I know he's on IR

Walking off the field with a trainer doesn’t sound great. RB room really thin all of a sudden.

***even if AK’s injury is not severe, somebody’s got to take reps.***

Just means he gonna miss some regular season games. Tbh potential bigger loss today is quincy riley. He hurt his groin. His arse probably about to miss some regular season games too. Tyson, Breese, Kamara, Jordan, and Riley out and aint even played the starters in a preseason game yet. shite is frustrating.

Still a month until the first game, would be surprised if Riley and Kamara aren’t back by then

I would think they're referring to a few weeks from now, not a few games... But guess we really don't know anything yet. Trying to stay positive but it's discouraging

Yeah, I didn’t realize that both Kendra and Neal were back yesterday until I just watched Underhill’s NOF post practice update. He said Neal had a really nice run and Kendre looked really good:

I’m paraphrasing—“The talent is so obviously there. You can just see it when he runs the ball. But can he stay healthy long enough to string an enough of these practices together to make the team. Etc…” Same ol’ things we always hear, but even the usually optimistic Nick sounded more pessimistic than skeptical.

Or maybe frustrated is a better word since he had just been reminded of the talent and knows how much better the offense could be with the dude he just watched being counted on to be on the field.

But I think he recorded that before we knew AK was going to be out for a few weeks. And have we heard a time table on Estime? I don’t imagine he’s getting back out there anytime too soon. Etienne supposedly looked really good, and with AK’s injury, you’d have to think they are gonna do everything they can to keep Etienne healthy and fresh going into Week 1.

All that to say, Kendre has a huge opportunity these next few weeks to not only earn a job, but maybe salvage a career. He needs the work. The Saints need to see it and see it consistently. And somebody’s got to get some carries. Great opportunity for Kendre. These next few weeks could decide whether or not he’s our #3 or probably cut and out of the league by ‘28.
