I wanted Fannin bad. Surprised they passed on him

Would’ve had to take him at 40, but I don’t think that will end up looking like a crazy reach. Teams will be kicking their self for passing on him

Warren and Fannin both set a rookie record today, most catches in week 1 by a TE. I love Banks but Warren would have been nice too.

Another classic take from X.

Juwan is just fine for now. You would rather take a TE after we signed JJ to an extension?

Like him or not. We’re not drafting a TE after we paid JJ.

Also. He had 8 catches for 80 yds today.

Neither rookie had a better day. Stop regurgitating shite you read.

I thought maybe he'd look a little better since Moore really seems to prioritize TEs but he looks like the same guy as always

This offense is flush with 2nd-3rd option type guys, but desperately lacks high end #1 talent. Just ONE true #1 type receiving option at TE or WR would be huge

That’s why I wanted to trade Olave BEFORE his value tanked. He is not a #1 and he will want WR1 money…….and you absolutely can NOT give that to him.

I think there will still be an opportunity to possibly trade Olave mid season and get a nice return. He may end up having shitty numbers given our QB play but has a track record and is still under contract through ‘26 for relatively cheap. He could be the missing piece to a contender as a strong WR2 option

Olave can run routes but he's soft.

He can make great catches at times but he's soft.

if there is a top-heavy team that thinks that he can put them over then yeah cough up a second rounder for him.

A late second rounder but still a second rounder.

Banks might end up being great, but we technically had a shot at Tyler Warren this year and for a team devoid of playmaking talent other than Taysom (injured) and Kamara (old), I think there was a great argument to take him. Warren was also running some Taysom like plays in college. Dude is a stud.

Juwan Johnston is a decent TE but is not clutch in big situations.

He will make highlight reels between the 20's but choke inside the redzone most times.

Hopefully Vele can get up to speed and start showing up in the red zone in the next week.

Yeah he just isn’t going to be that guy that keeps a DC up at night and that’s fine if you have other weapons. He’s plenty good at what he does but hes definitely more of a reliable 2 when motivated.

When your best red zone target is known for dropping it in big situations you have a problem with your play makers.

I agree! I was livid when they didn’t RUN to the podium and select Warren. I like Banks, so I don’t hate the pick….. I do think he will be good.

But Warren is going to be a STUD IMO.

He should have caught that ball. An elite TE catches that ball!

Had we taken Mason Taylor in the 2nd round this year instead of Tyler Though, then this issue would like be a moot point. Roster management is a nightmare with Mickey Mouse at the helm.
