I’m assuming—at least I hope—he is meaning hiring McDaniel as OC to replace Pete. But I think with Carr that’s likely a non-starter.

Only difference between McDaniels and Allen is McDaniels has to go against two superbowl winning coaches and a third team in the division with actual team playoff talent.
Allen goes against none of these in the division with the easiest schedule in the league and still can’t get us over a .500 record.
