If tweet fails to load, click here. He’s “improving” is not fricking promising I have to say. He better be. It’s been 3 months.

Yeah I'm not upset about this. Give him the extra month? with the bye then come back to be certain. We know this is a recurring problem so make sure it doesn't happen again and he's out the entire season because we rushed it

its been 2 months and a week to date.

They reported 6-10 weeks for the Davante Adams ruptured hamstring so checks out

Apparently Loomis said it’s a separate injury issue? I’m not seeing any further details about that.

I'm putting on his press conference now
"The injury he has is not the same injury as he had before" in the quote.
It could still mean the hamstring but maybe a tendon instead of the actual muscle? Different area of the hamstring? Who knows

Yeah. Technically speaking.
But this is the truth below.

The team is 2-4 and almost gave up a win to a bad NYG team. Absolutely no reason to rush him back now and risk reinjury. At this point, having him sit damn near the entire season and making sure he gets it right for the future is not the worst thing in the world.

The most likely scenario is that he starts practicing after the bye. And, 2-3 weeks later, he's playing.
But, frick Mickey for thinking his answer is sufficient.
He doesn't have to give a definitive timeline. He could easily say, we are x weeks away from the earliest possible point where we he would consider practicing him.

We were never told he had a ruptured hamstring.

there ya go buddy. that's all there is to it. there's nothing to gain by giving out timelines that may or may not pan out.

And I didn't say that we did either. He has a hamstring injury and that timeline matches Tyson's does it not?

Did his hamstring fall off?

I’m hearing they’re hoping to have him playing in the Panthers game (Nov. 15) or the following week against the Bears (Nov. 22).

That would make sense to me. A couple week ramp up period to get to full speed for extremely important playoff implication games would be smart

Getting half a season out of him seems optimistic at this point.

There's plenty to gain. Setting an expectation slows down the questions and allows for clarity on the topic. And, as timelines change, you can control the communication so that fans and reporters don't start suggesting you are intentionally hiding something.
I think you got it completely wrong. There's nothing to gain by being coy. This isn't a situation where you don't want your opponent to know. It frustrates the fans and invites questions into how you are running (poorly) the organization.
