You didn't know that coaches & QBs are held to a different standard? Not only are they supposed to always be perfect at their job but they must be able provide divine intervention by making garbage arse players around them better. According to these airheads coaches like Pete Carroll (Jets & Patriots) & Bill Belichick (Browns) shouldn't have been given second or third chances.

If he somehow doesn’t get a DC spot Sean will 100% bring him in as a “senior defensive assistant” or something.

What i'm getting at is we're much closer to a Carolina situation than a Buffalo one. I haven't seen anything indicating he can get the most of a bad/mediocre team. Carolina couldn't get rid of him fast enough.

Be careful with all this love for Brady. He was an abject failure while Matt Rhule was in Carolina....did not finish out the season. He had the luxury both at LSU and Buffalo of having generational talent at QB. He did not have that luxury at Carolina and sure will not have it with the Saints.

Joe Brady has that it factor.

He knows offense. He knows how to relate to his players and get their input in the offense.

Personally I would love the hire.

Id rather bank on a little bit of upside as a potential HC than hire a flame out like Nagy.

Not many good options like have been pointed out. You are going to get a flawed candidate. Got to try and get the least shitty one.

Reid was successful in Philly. Seemed like both the coach and team needed a change.

How does the Rooney rule work if we want Brady.
Do we have to satisfy Rooney rule before offering him the job.
Or can we Interview Brady first, then do a couple of Rooney interviews afterward?

Idiotic take. How well did Belichick do in Cleveland and there are hundreds of more examples where coaches have experienced success after their first failure.

I’m a Brady fan, but I’m beginning to wonder.

Was he that good at lsu in 2019?
Or was it because we had burrow a top nfl talent
And the 2 best receivers in the nfl arguably in chase and Jefferson on the same college offense?

He was successful, but his last 2 seasons he was 8-8 and 4-12.

Eh, I don’t think so. After the Allen/Carr discrepancy, it’s not completely out of the realm of thinking that we’re pretty even in other position groups (when healthy).

Please give me Brady over all these retread names im seeing

Brady is high risk high reward kind of like Sean Payton was. I like the gamble. Those other names don’t have the upside Brady has and if he is successful he can stay a while.
