Glad we could use our first round picks to give a super bowl team 2 starters in Robinson and Jenkins. Terrible front office

And if they had played like this when they were with the Saints, the FO would have kept them. Learn all the history before you talk shite.

Jenkins got better when he got to Philly, Prob was never worth a 1st round pick.

A good front office would not have let that talent walk when clearly it was shite defensive coordinators. No excuses to let first round picks walk that have talent like this.

Both players were with the saints for 3 years or longer, so tell me exactly how long is the FO supposed to wait before the talent that you are talking about is realized?

I’ve said it before, watching Robinson in college, he never looked like anything more than a 3 round guy. When he came to NO he played like a undrafted free agent instead of a 1st round pick. He’s picked up his game, but he’s the 3rd corner on Philly’s roster for a reason. Darby and Mills are the starters.

Both played with us for 5 years.

We made a mistake letting Porter go for PRob, but he did have one good year with us. After his final year here he had to go.

With Jenkins, we thought we were upgrading with Byrd, but we would have kept Jenkins if we didn't land him. Injuries and hindsight and all that.

Yeah that Eagles secondary tore it up tonight. Gave up 33 points (would have been 36 without a botched fg snap) and combined with the Pats D to give up the most yards in NFL playoff history. Actually, that sounds just like the Saints D when Jenkins and Robinson were here.

Jenkins looked great tackling James White

Less so trying to tackle Marshawn Lynch when he was in the black and Gold.

1. Jenkins was a casualty to Loomis wanting a Darren Sharper style safety, which is why they let Jenkins walk and signed Byrd (whose first few years in the NFL with Buf was known for his ballhawking skills). So if Byrd would not have been hurt 99.9% of the time and played like he did in Buf, no one would even remember Jenkins.

2. Robinson was a typical Loomis reach due to a need. Drafting at 32, the Saints drafted need over BPA. If I remember correctly, the saints were interested in McCourty but did not want to trade up and were hoping he would fall. He obviously didn't and they pulled the trigger on PRob.
