Demario is rated at 82.1 on pff (13 of 137). He's also 13th in tackles among lbs. He's having a great season

Didn't say he sucks, I said he's old. Being 36 automatically puts a very low ceiling on what a trade return would be.

Granderson and Alontae are names to chew on

Both have played well this year and are still relatively young? Why would we trade either?

Alontae is due a new contract but he’s probably our best corner and should resign him.

We just paid cooks/jj 17 million for this year. That’s just flushing money down the toilet.

So why did the saints trade a 4th(top 104 or earlier pick) for vele when they knew they weren't going to be very good this yr?

This wasn't the yr to make that trade. This is also after they signed brandin cooks for 7.75 guaranteed.

These moves make no sense. Now they are going to trade olave for maybe a 2nd.

So you might trade olave and a 4th for vele and a 2nd.(if you get a 2nd for olave)

The moves loomis makes have no rhyme or reason.

I'm down to trade Hill if they draft Diego Pavia as his replacement swiss army knife

Many Saints fans are currently too apathetic to read that article.

I read it . He brings up the Ditka era in article. It means we are going nowhere right now unless moves are made.

I wouldn't trade granderson but you would have 18 mil of dead money to deal with.

Sports expert Jeff Duncan doesn’t know how rebuilds work. This is a good rebuild. People who know ball, know this.

Again, we are not the Jets or Browns. People need to settle down.

The Saints are actually competitive while being bad. That is certainly preferable to being rock bottom awful

i would like to trade Kamara and it isn’t because he’s not good. He’s been great to the franchise plus he’s getting older. Trade him to a contender, he deserves that much

I’m not saying they should though having Granderson as your best pass rusher is pissing in the wind. We need a legit threat next to him. He doesn’t fit our window of contention. He looks good for us but he’s the 2nd or 3rd best rusher on a good team

A player has to be attractive to a trade partner and he would be one of the few we have

This will be a best case rebuild when Moore benches Rattler and puts in Shough and Loomis trades Werner and Stutsman takes his place. Then, all of our rookies will be playing meaningful minutes and we will truly be building for the future.

1. Chris Olave
2. Cesar Ruiz
3. Taysom Hill
4. Brandon Cooks
5. Juwan Johnson
6. Issac Yiadom

If we can clear cap space from this group and end up with something even close to a 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th then I'd be happy.

I think people are undervaluing an Olave trade. It's about demand/ potential and not necessarily what he's doing on a shitty team. Right now you have the Giants, Packers, Patriots, and Pittsburgh interested along with teams that could call about him like the Chiefs, Dolphins, Bills, 49ers. You then have Raiders, Jets, Titans who probably don't need to spend assets but could use the WR depth.

I think it will be a bidding war. Most of the mock trades have him going for a conditional first or a 2nd.
