Piece of shite. Tom Benson is a dumbass if that design caught his eye. Our first Super Bowl and they ruin one of the most important aspects of winning a championship. One diamond in the middle and the rest is filled with that crusted up shite. If it is the real thing then Tiffany Co. did a half assed job. Should have went with Jostens.

My fantasy football championship ring looked better, and it was made from licorice and small flecks of aluminum foil.

The more I think about it, I do believe that this is the look of the ring...top. I hope that the sides are as artistic as some have claimed to have knowledge of.
I think that Superbowl rings deserve to be gaudy and unwearable everyday. I have several championship rings that I have earned, and I only wish I did enough to earn something like a Patriots or Steelers Superbowl ring. It is a fitting prize full of diamonds and gold to someone who has spent their entire life to attain. It would be somewhat disappointing to have something that looks like a high school ring or something that anyone can buy right now from a local jeweler or on-line. I like the ring for it what it stands for, but disappointed that it will not rank up there with the best of these rings. I knew that Tiffanys would make a more conservative ring as opposed to Jostens, but never thought to this extent.
Definately hope the players receive a much more improved version than this. If not, it is still OUR Superbowl ring, and no one will take that away from this team/ city.

what sucks about the ring? how could it have been made better? they took the best thing about the Saints "Fleur de lis" and made it the center point.

ITS NOT EVEN OUR LOGO! ITS A GENERIC FLEUR DE LIS. I don't get how Saints fans cannot recognize a generic fleur de lis versus the NFL licensed FDL that is on every piece of Saints merchandise.
That ring is a fricking travesty if it's the real deal.
You've gotta have a diamond Lombari on the face... you've just GOT to. The Saints logo FDL over the Lombardi is a no brainer. Whoever designed this piece of shite is a moron.

The Saints colors are those of a diamond ring to begin with. Black and gold just aren't going to stand out like red and blue fro the Patriots.

Only Drew Brees has seen the rings because he helped design them. No way Brees would design something that ugly. Duncan doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. He just confirmed the same picture we are seeing, never saw the real thing. That picture is a fake. Nothing but a jeweler advertising his half assed replication.
