Lamar passed for 208 yds a game and 80 rushing yards a game. Which part of this is so beyond the realm of possibility with a Taysom and Sean Payton led offense with Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara among other weapons loaded on a top 5 OL in the league?

do you even quantify bro? He could do that and we could go 0-16. Those numbers mean nothing

Can he the league in passing TDs and rushing yardage while sitting out 9.5 quarters, 26/0 TD/INT ratio in the RZ, more than double the most missed tackles forced by a QB, most passing TDs from the pocket, best QBR vs Man coverage, in the red zone, vs the blitz yada yada yada

So all Hill needs to do is: become the best rushing QB in nfl history, become a good pocket passer, become a good passer period, protect the football, be efficient vs multiple defensive looks, accurately deliver the football down field

there are a few realms of possibility, this aint one

He can maybe do a lot of those things. You know nothing of what Taysom can't be as a starting qb in a sean payton and Saints skilled team.

I dont doubt he can do some of those things. You act like it's a ridiculous notion that he cannot match the greatest season by rushing QB in NFL history. It's not just rushing and passing yards

Why does it have to be Lamar Jackson. Would you not be content if Hill was a Josh Allen type QB? I would be. I dont think we can win a SB with that, but certainly can contend for a playoff spot.

because Taysom is such a huge part of the team in his multiple other roles

Justify and explain this to me:

How is Taysom more valuable touching the ball 2.8x a game as a gadget player than he is touching the ball every play as a QB?

Please, someone. If he a DUDE.... If he is the next dude....you are itching to put him in the game, aren't you?

That is such a bullshite narrative that makes zero sense. Touching the ball a few times a game does not make him "a huge part of the team". HE touched the ball 2.8x per game! He had 46 touches on offense all year. 46!!!!!!

Now, 28 isn’t 31 and Taysom isn’t Kurt Warner

27 is not 31. yep

Rich Gannon was the 2nd.

Rich Gannon started his first game at 24.284 years old

The age thing I am perpetuating is about recognizing talent. Whether you are good or not at the age is not as important. It's about recognizing the talent, giving the player a shot because you truly believe he can win games as a QB. And they had the shot with Taysom last year, and they had that shot again to make him QB2 for 2020 but they chose not to.

His clock is ticking. The more they put it off, the easier it is to see that they really dont believe in him. The more they put it off, the less likely it is that he is developed into a starting NFL QB. I dont hate the player, but those are just the cold hard facts. History does not lie. Not with this type of sample size.

. He signed a 2 year deal averaging 10 mill a year. That is how any gm would look at this deal. Why? Cause that is what that deal is.

Hahah, good luck trying to convince Chadboy. He cannot read between the lines.

Neither do you. And I’m not sure how this even relates to the debate at hand

So they won’t play Taysom ahead of Teddy, but they will play him over Drew?

Sean Payton just on Instagram live with Kay Adams. She asks about QB post Brees

Mentions Hill and that know what he can do, they see it in practice. Says Jameis is only 26 with a bright future ahead of him, ton a talent, former #1 pick. SP was there at Winston’s pro day and has been enamored with him since. Says look, both of those guys know it’s going to be a competition, we like both of those guys a lot and having options make finding a future QB easier, that nothing is a given

But jay glazer said ...

Literally what Ive been saying since we signed Jameis. Why the frick would we not let them battle it out to replace Brees?

Anyone screaming one side or the other is just a retard. Could be either. We will see. Apparently SP likes both players.

Right.
Like you said Glazer has been saying this for months
So the taysom is going to get a shot thing was before they signed Winston. Naturally they would have to compete for the job

Explain this to me

What good does it do Payton to go around saying that now
It hurts you in contract negotiations
We think taysom can be the guy, hence the reason he got 16 mil
