He won’t touch Taysom’s 40 yard speed but he’s an athlete that will lower his shoulder against anyone. Could he be a viable replacement for Hill if he measures well at the combine? He’s not an NFL QB but the dude is an athlete.

Is this actually serious?? Jaxson dart is the next Taysom?? Look its only January 2. Its way too early to fire off a dumbest post of the year candidate.

Dart might be best mid level QB in draft. I like see Saints take him along with Army QB.

I didn’t say he was the next Taysom you fricking twat.

I said he could be a similar type tool. People develop and Dart has a lot of similar tools to Taysom.

I don’t know why I’m responding to someone with such a low IQ

This line of thinking perplexes me. We already have mid level QBing in Carr and Rattler. Now instead of getting talent that we sorely need at a ton of other positions, you are advocating that we draft 2 QBs that won’t move the needle for the team? I am seriously perplexed!

Exactly. That OM team has a lot of guys that could help us much more than dart like prince whatever, nolen, Harris, and Amos

Skattebo is nowhere near the athlete Taysom Hill is.

Skattebo will be a mediocre NFL RB like Toby Gerhart or Jacob Hester (if Skattebo even makes a 53-man roster in the NFL at all. He is not very fast).

Matt Corral checked the same boxes. Great UFL QB. Kiffin’s system is kind to these guys

that's my worry with dart, too. corral was a gamer at OM, got drafted early by the panthers, and then he was out of the league 2 yrs later. I don't doubt Dart's ability, seen it first hand. I'm not sure how well it translates to the next level.

Corral also entered into a death sentence. Season ending injury year 1 and new regime year 2. He never stood a chance.

Those guys carry 1st and 2nd round price tags. I can’t imagine Dart goes before round 4

I'd bet dart won't drop past the 3rd round. He's got enough upside you take a chance, but a low enough floor that you don't wanna blow a 1st on.

If he's there by Washington 3rd, I can see us taking him. We've seen rattler and haener. Theyre not it. Day what you want, we aren't gonna bottom out to land a top 3 pick for a Qb in 2026 - can't see it happening with the schedule.

That’s what YOU wrote you dumb frick. What else could you be implying as you state he’s not an NFL QB. I get you’re embarrassed about how stupid your post was, but just take the L.

Poor man’s Josh Allen.

His current draft projection is late 2nd, early 3rd round. And the draft write up says it would be best to backup a year or so.

Draft Dart in the 2nd/3rd, backup Carr in 2025, and potentially take over in 2026.

Agreed, he checks a lot of boxes with his athleticism, played in a pro style OFF with LK, and threw into tight SEC coverages with success. I would take Dart to backup Carr in a heartbeat, with an opportunity to develop into a starter. Last time we took an OM QB in the draft his last name was Manning; it worked out pretty well for the Saints.
