the fact is he came by there after the game with 4-5 other players, seemingly to "mingle" with the fans. No one else had any problems taking pictures and shaking hands....thats all I am saying. At one point Reggie walked off across the street to stand alone with some other dude to get away from everyone.
its not like people were harrassing them either...they were treated as normal people, just an occasional picture here or there. It wasnt a big deal

Obviously he didnt want to be bothered with ppl if he left to get away. Most of the stories are ussually good about bush. Everybodies has bad days that they dont want to be bothered. Give him a pass

I dont care either way really, just telling a story. It pretty much goes along with what I've heard about the guy. It doesn't bother me. His business is his business. But he can come off as a douche.

I've seen more than one person on this board claim they wouldn't crush Kim K.

This sounds like shite thrown out there to intentionally cause a distraction for the team. Let's not give this guy the satisfaction.

im not SFP, im not posting peoples pics. Face it though, Bush makes a shite ton of money, has a hot girl friend, plays for the best team in the league, and 2 cute girls wants to take a picture with him??? what is there not to be happy/smile about??

Although I like both guys, I often get a feeling that CP and RB have some house ill feelings about playing in such a small market. This is not based on anything I've seen or heard, just a impression I sometimes get.

possibly, but both make a shitload of money in salary and in endorsements. It doesnt really hold them back any.

One question, Lester. Why does the picture that you're painting completely contradict what people who went to just about every training camp session that was open to the public say about Bush?
And why would such a "douche" go off to Africa during the offseason and help out children?

Most people I hear about doing this happen to be big douches. Exhibit A: Bono

When he renegotiated they gave him more upfront to minimize cap implications after this year. This has long been known to be the make or break year for him. I have no problem with his role and production. I think you could probably find as many good guy tales as bad guy ones too. Bottom line is... the bottom line. 9-10 touches a game and increasing fragility of his knees cannot be equated to his salary. The production + health won't garner him big bucks on the open market. Renegotiated lower someone else might be interested but maybe not for as much as the Saints would offer.
Jeff Duncan broke down the money like this:
Bush's contract is definitely going to be a front-burner issue next offseason. His current cap charge of $12.1 million will escalate to $13.5 million next year, an onerous figure considering his return value. Bush also has some escalators and incentives built into the deal that could increase the value by $1.5 million or more. Clearly, this is a make-or-break season for Bush. While he has proven to be a valuable cog in the Saints offense I don't think his production has equaled his compensation. Depending on what happens with his incentives this season, the Saints could save as much as $6.5 million by releasing or trading him next year.
Colston is signed thru '11 btw too. Jhari Evans is the next one in line for a big contract IMO

Training camp is a little different.
But I don't know, i have no reason to lie. I don't think Jim Henderson has any motive to lie either. He seems to not care for Bush at all, hearing him talk.
my friend also told me that he went to the airport after the Miami game(i think it was Miami), and Reggie was one of the only players not to drive through the crowd. He either waited until everyone left of took a different route out of the airport. But he was one of the players that everyone wanted to see.
and this halloween party, he was so anti social you'd think he had some type of mental disorder. shite, he may. He didnt take his mask off for the 2-3 hours he was there.

anyone who has a Donruss Diamond King avatar featuring Andre Dawson can't be trusted.
j/k Lester, thanks for the insight on RB/25. These stories remind me a lot of RW/34.
