I know. The curse of LSU Players. Go ahead downvote.
But I heard a statistic today that surprised me greatly. He was in the top for total defensive snaps played all of last season. Thats impressive for a 305 lb DT, and while he's not the most explosive, playing as most downs as he did last year tells me this guy is in great shape. He's predicted as a 4th Round pick, and I wouldn't mind seeing him on the draft board.

I'm not a huge homer on my LSU guys, but I've always liked Roy. I'd like him on this team in the right round.

Multiple DTs probably wouldn't hurt.

The two way DT that excells is highly prized. But you can load up on run stuffers and pass rushers at the position and rotate. Cheaper too. I expect we load up on both in the draft and especially in UDFA.

More of an indictment of LSU's lack of depth which also led, in part, to the Texas A&M debacle.

I tip my hat to him for playing as many snaps as he did last year. I would consider him until round 5. The fact is that he has not been a playmaker at LSU.
