His response, "It was all God."

He admitted that he did not see the foul or the flag. We can't have shite like that happening. He needs to limit the YOLO passes.

I'm a man of faith, but after watching the saints for years, I can assure you my God is not a saints fan. Thank Calloway, Winston

God downright hated the Saints from like 80-93.

he is the exact same guy he was in tampa and will throw it up for grabs when he panics, that is who he is so get used to it.

the only difference is payton wont be asking him to throw it 50 times a game, thats the only difference.

every year by years end he will have 20+ interceptions, that will never change. the only unknown is if payton can manage him well enough to overcome those bad decisions he will make and the resulting turnovers

I mean, he's currently on pace for 12-ish. We'll see.

You might want to adjust that first number down to 67.

Callaway had to jump to catch the ball.

I kind of think Winston was trying to throw it out of the back of the end zone but didn’t get enough on it as he was being tackled and falling down.

I mean Callaway was tackled at the LOS. Winston went through his progressions and got pressured. It’s reasonable to think he thought Callaway was down so that part of the end zone would be empty.

I could be wrong though. I’d have to rewatch it.

5 year starter and only had 1 year over 20 interceptions; but now it’s a given he’ll throw 20+ every year

I picked those dates because they were especially painful, not just bad. Just plain bad I can find some comedy. Missing the playoffs on late second FGs or shitting the bed when you have the better team is more painful than just sucking.

I was. Then I saw the presser and he said he didn’t know there was a foul on the play and was attempting to throw it away.

The truth is way more important to me than being right.

My problem is him throwing those kind of balls up for grabs in traffic. I don’t know what his actual intentions were with the pass, but that ball was back of end zone not in traffic.

I also think being so close to end zone made it less likely it would be a punt pass that 3 defenders could run under.

think he was trying to throw it out of the back of the end zone but was off his back foot and couldn't get leverage. Just got lucky Callaway made a play

And he's averaging roughly 100 yards per game going into the 4th quarter.....So yeah, naturally that means he's going to be throwing less interceptions. Payton doesn't trust him throwing downfield.

Throwing up a ball to a 6-3 WR who is 1-on-1 isn't terrible.

I'd be more upset if there were more defenders around but there werne't.
