Jameis and Carr are both average/bad for different reasons, yet equal

Which tells you all you need to know.

We could've kept Jameis on a one year prove it like we did and get a qb in the draft this fricking year and done a very short rebuild.

Signing Carr has crushed this franchise for the next 5 years minimum.

To act like Carr was the better choice over Jameis at this point is laughable. Jameis could've given you a .500 record at this point just like Derek, for about 120 mil less.

Carr was yet another massive mistake by Loomis and Company.

Dalton was improving as the season progressed and got us into position to win games late in the season. We should have kept him for another season.

It's pretty clear that Carr was a terrible signing.

Are they both equal when you factor in their salaries?

this is the only correct answer

if you cant get a sure starter QB for the future, keeping dalton has us right where we are today, but without the carr contract

and i think carr is a top 10-15 QB in this league if he has any FO or HC other than DA and loomis

I agree but you keep Dalton and no one thinks you’re seriously trying to compete. Carr was a gamble and they lost on it big time.

We had a three game win streak before that game dumbass. He also led us downfield twice late game against the niners only to have Kamara fumble inside the 5 and Hill let a pass doink off his face mask in the end zone.

Hence…..he had us in position to win games late in the season. I never said he was elite, dumbass. Just that he was marginally better than the two functioning retards that played today.

ETA. That win steak was the first time Dennis Allen has won back to back games as a head coach.

I hate bringing in new quarterbacks. It’s going to take them 3-4 weeks at minimum just to get into game rhythm with the rest of the offense and learn the system. Dalton would have been cheap as shite and his better(marginally) than these two idiots.

No.

Carr isn't great, but way better than Winston. 2 ints in 2 drives to tie the game.

No.

Yep, sticking with Dalton would have been a very bad look.

With our current record, people would have bee bitching big time.

You know what else is a really bad look? Paying $150 million for what we’re currently getting out of our qb spot.

How close was the game with Carr in?

Congrats on Winston having a closer loss than Carr.

Pretty stupid statement, as the Vikings clearly were not as aggressive and were running out the clock in the 2nd half. Plus I don’t think Hockenson played much after halftime.

Defense couldn’t get off the field and were giving up touchdown drive after touchdown drive the first half.

Exactly, mfers were threatening to leave the site until Jameis scored and converted the 2.

Soon as we lose, they mad again lol

It’s honestly his best quality and it isn’t even close.
