Where were you last week when Bridgewater was 14 of 19 (73.7%) for 134 yards, 1 TD/0 Int and T. Hill was 8 of 14 (57.1%) for 80 yards, 1 TD/1 Int.?

Unless Teddy gets his shite together mentally, Hill will win that battle

That’s literally why they play the preseason games (and practices.)

Philip Rivers and Drew Brees were among the stars who watched from the sideline.

That left Teddy Bridgewater to start for the Saints. He nearly didn’t and probably shouldn’t have.

The Saints backup went 5-for-12 for 40 yards and an interception. He also lost a fumble.

He played deep into the second quarter before Taysom Hill replaced him with 1:22 remaining in the half.

Saints coach Sean Payton explained after the game that Bridgewater was sick. He thought about not playing Bridgewater and concedes he “should have taken him out sooner,” via Amie Just of the Times-Picayune.

Teddy is not an NFL caliber starter.

He never will be

What makes you say that? You know he has already made the pro bowl, right?

captain checkdown you mean? Bridgewater had a rep of being ultra conservative in Minnesota. I can see why. He doesn't anticipate and won't throw a guy open. He waits and if they don't have great separation he either checks down or gets sacked.

He's different in the sense I feel he does know what to do with the ball but is too afraid to take chances.

He is a waste of money. Period

Saints are paying him $7.2 mil a year.

I say cut him, name Hill the backup and free up some cap space for other needs.

Bridgewater became a Saint on Aug 29th 2018 (less than a year ago) so you are either a liar (highly likely) or you were spamming the board with non-saints material

either way the fact you still suck is confirmed.

Teddy sucks. Taysom should be number 2.

Great man.
You dump Teddy.
Brees retires the end of this year.
So going into next year our only QB on the roster is Taysom Hill who looked great in preseason for 30 min against 2nd 3rd and 4th stringers.

Winnie hating a black quarterback is shocking

So we automatically are supposed to like all black quarterbacks or it's racist? I see much much more white athlete bashing on here than anything.

Nah I'm pretty sure Aaron Brooks hate on here is met with universal approval. But judging a QB on one bad half of a preseason game (after one really good half the week before) might raise some red flags in that aspect.
