I'll preface this by saying I'm not a fan of his. He's a regular season stat padder who disappears in the playoffs and in key moments.

This season, he was handled by rookie tackles and backups. And yet he makes the pro bowl on name recognition while Hendrickson did not. Unreal.

But last night he tweets a congrats to the Tampa Bay Bucs on winning the Super Bowl. I know he has friends who play for them, but you don't congrats the team that beat you in your home stadium (which Cam had no impact) on winning it all.

quote:

@camjordan94 Wow, congrats Tampa. Salute.

With his salary and his drop off in play, he should be a trade piece and we should try and keep Hendrickson.

I'm mad

I don't think these players have the unhealthy hate for rivals like fans.

1) He’s arguably the best saint of the Payton era not named Drew Brees.

2) he was clearly hurt all year.

3) you suck.

Id actually be fine if we could get something back decent for hik, but it has nothing to do with his tweet or anything off the field. I just think he is on the downswing

Healthy or not, he does disappear in the playoffs. It's almost a running joke at this point.

Trading before 6/01 will free up $2M in cap space. Something tells me his replacement (Hendrickson or anyone else) will cost more than the $2M in savings.
He could be a candidate for a restructure to free up a good chunk of cash, but it just pushes the cap hit down the road making him untradeable in future years.

FYI, a trade after next season would free up over $7M; but doesn't help current situation

Your logic is weird, and as others have said idk why he needs to hate on Tampa Bay. It was discussed thoroughly on here that Brees, Cook, hurt MT, and Payton not committing to Kamara more was what killed us in that game. Also had 4 or 5 near INT’s that would have helped tremendously.

With all of that being said, I wouldn’t be opposed to shopping Jordan who will be 32 next season taking up ~$19M in cap space as it currently stands. Not sure what his value is with that contract but could be worth fielding inquiries...

Edit: read the post a few above about trading only freeing up $2M, probably staying put
