Should we be worried that Foles, Tate, Jeffery, Sproles and Ertz can pick them apart?

Are we going to have to be 100% dependent on the pass rush?

I don't know about suspect, but we are definitely better versus the run, that is for sure. Which is why this matchup should give us a bit of pause. The Eagles can't run the ball for shite and will probably not bother to do it much.

They had 40 passing attempts, outside, in Chicago in January, versus an absolutely completely elite Defense.

They will pass it 50+ times versus us.

this is what worries me...with a week off I hope their conditioning doesn't become an issue....they cant get tired running up and down that field chasing balls all day

They have the ability to play very good at home in this atmosphere.

They also have the ability to not play so well and make a lot of boneheaded penalties and big plays.

Wouldn’t say 100%, but our ability to control the game will definitely depend on how the d line plays. If the ends and Rankins can consistently cause disruption, then the Saints will once again win this one going away. Even if we can’t sack Foles 4+ times, if we can just get in his face and hurry him a bit, with their lack of a run game, then it could get out of hand again.

If we can’t, I have full confidence Brees will once again treat this secondary like a practice squad, and we will win a high scoring affair by at least a touchdown.

This matchup is absolutely perfect for the Saints. We have the advantage on offense, defense, and special teams. Can’t wait for Sunday.

In addition to that we have the most PI calls against a team

Apple is a boat anchor. Hopefully he can have a good game or they don't pick on him too much.

Foles should have thrown 3-4 picks in that game, But Chicago couldn't make the plays.

It’s so weird that you say this, because I feel the exact opposite. The perfect matchup for us was Dallas or Seattle.

The Saints only for sure unit right now is the defense when it comes to the run. The Eagles barely run it anyway. The secondary is suspect, and Foles is hot. He will throw all over us.

On offense, our biggest issues right now are OL (health) and lack of weapons. I do agree we have a mostly favorable matchup against their secondary (however they are MUCH better than they were in our first matchup), but I am very worried about our OL. The strength of the eagles defense is their DL. If they can disrupt Brees it could cause problems.

Not saying we can hold them like Chicago, but Foles had 2 picks and a 77.7 rating. It's not like he played lights out and won the game for them.

It was Chicago's inept offense that couldn't capitalize on those turnovers or sustain drives that kept Philly in it. And then a finger tip block BARELY won it.

We have a decent enough defense and a way better offense. Even if we do give up some more points, that defense cannot hold us. They could pass it 100 times and that would still hold.

And to add, the Eagles with Foles want to attack with quick passes. We GREATLY improved in that area with the addition of Davis and the rise of Anzalone.

Teams no longer dink and dunk us to death like they did since 2014.

Our strength in pass D is their strength in the passing attack.

Where they are weak with Foles is the outside boundary passing game. The middle is still good for them with Ertz, but we basically shut him out the first game by sticking our LBs on him and bracketing him with a CB or S.

We protect the football on offense and it won’t matter. Give them extra possessions and that’s where we run into a game

They ran a lot of 12 personnel to get Goedert on the field. He needs to be accounted for as well

It can be. Depends on what version of Lattimore we got. Lattimore or that weak arse Lattimer. And if Appel is throwing himself a Browner Flag fest.

Lattimore gave up 2 TDs all year. Possession , boundary type receivers haven’t presented much of a problem to him this year

The only looming WRs that present matchup problems with him are TY, Cooks and Tyreke

What I was coming here to say. Foles is good for at least one turnover, so we protect the ball and control the clock, we win EZPZ
