Mickey and co see all of the same things we see. They see an uninspiring leader, a locker room revolting in real time against him, and continued issues across the team. And yet, he is insistent that the issue isn't DA.

How can he see all of this and think everything is ok? That DA is the man for the job and we just need to trade away all of our superstars that call a spade a spade to solve the issue. You can't rationally come to that conclusion. What's the deal? Does DA have something over the front office? He has no redeeming qualities as a head coach. His only valuable skill is as a DC.

Is this something you think or did something actually get said?

When you are too close to a situation, you often can't see the forest for the trees. Saints need a visionary in the worst way.

Unpopular opinion (maybe)

If the Saints Owner was a man DA would have been fired long ago

He is going after what he said..."The culture". Which sounds like a excuse for keeping DA another year. Hope I'm wrong.

Loomis' willful ignorance is insane. Reminds me of Nazi propagandists late in World War II or something. Dude recently compared Derek Carr to Brees in 2006 and said this team is on that one's level.

2006 Drew was not 2009 Drew. It was an apt comparison, he wasn’t saying Carr = Drew. He said both had struggles

Tom Benson wouldn’t have put up with the bullshite that went down yesterday. Under his watch we did have some bad coaches, but none of them were spineless.

Disagree.
After 2006 I felt great about Brees going into the next year.
After 2023 I feel depressed as hell with Carr.

When you’re making this comparison publicly- you basically are saying Carr could very well become like Brees after a rough year. There is no saints fan or football fan who thinks that. ITs delusional and asinine to say that. It would have been better if he found a way to support Carr and just say his progress has nothing to do with Brees.

Also this is completely dismissing the fact Brees was coming off a major surgery at the time that nobody thought a qb could come back from. Again just a horrible comparison.

It was his time with the raiders. Just trying to recreate that magic again.

He should be fired, that’s the problem. He made a dog shite hire and firing him means he failed.

He has his boy csp’s arrogance but is not as good at his job to back it up.

Loomis is part of Ownership, the only thing he see's is the bottom line, and black vs red on the balance sheet. Loomis knows the idiots will keep showing up and buying merchandise no matter what, so nothing will change.
