Dez didn’t call Saints back.

SAS dropped this during show a day or two ago.

Same attitude as Brandin Cooks . He knows he isn’t better than Michael Thomas . I guess he feels he can compete with Landry and Gordon for targets .

Landry and Dez two of the most overrated players in the league.

Landry no , Dez yes. Landry doesnt have elite speed , but he’s one of the best in the league on third down , has a high catch rate , can get separation , most receptions in a player's first four seasons in NFL history.

Knowing Sean Payton, why tf would he want to purposely add cancer to a team that has no cancer. Metaphorically speaking of course.

Im not disagreeing with you Namari, Im just adding that straight-line speed at WR CAN be very overrated. Landry is very quick for being slow, if that makes sense.

Yep. Go look at all his TD catches last year. None were over 10 yards IIRC.

But to add to my point, Slot WR are not required to run a 4.4, but they better be able to seperate from DBs.

Landry and Bryant are about equal.

If healthy Gordon is by far the best on the team. I think something must be up if Bryant is getting such a look by the Browns.

Had the Saints signed Bryant I could have seen them going three and four wide very often considering our tight ends. If we had signed Bryant then the Saints might have been better playing six offensive linemen.

A 3rd and long, 7 yard reception is next to worthless. Reception stats can be misleading.

Useful player, extremely overrated. There are better slot receivers because of yards after catch.

Blasphemy I know, but facts.

Dez at least was a legit top flight WR at one point in his career.

I’ll play.

Who in the hell has Landry had throwing to him? He has plenty enough speed. What he hasn’t had is even an average QB tossing him the ball. I’m not being a homer here. There are plenty of shitty LSU WRs, but given an above average QB, Landry’s stats would be head’s and tails better. Just ask Marques Colston, ElMo, and a host of other Saints WRs.

The list of WRs that did more with trash QBs is endless. Check it out. You are a homer. It’s cool. Most of us are. Brees is the greatest QB of all time. There, I said it.

Landry is just not a #1 WR with his athleticism. And at that price, woof. Good slot WR, good player, nothing more.
