he is GOAT saint... we don't get him in FA that year, and we don't eventually win a SB...

still think Pierre Thomas may be my favorite all-time saint though... just came in, all business, went about his business and became one of the greatest RB in Saints history....

I don't necessarily agree with this argument, but I think the only possibility is Morten Andersen, based on his holding the all-time records for games played and (at one time) for points scored. If Morten had also been the first kicker in the Hall of Fame, that would also have been a point in his favor, but unfortunately he was not.

But I guess it also makes me ask "what are the criteria?". Just flat-out good at football, at his peak? If you held a gun to my head and said "get it right!" I might pick Darren Sproles or Rickey Jackson.
