Who is the second-greatest Saint of all time?” would be a much better question.

I guess Roaf or Ricky

Brees is the best player in franchise history now and forever. He won’t be surpassed.

Andersen kicked into high gear in his second season as he netted 91 points for New Orleans in 1983.

Will Lutz had a 144 points in 2019

Greatest player is a difficult ask... Better to ask by position, but in this case, it is Drew and no one even close. People just forget because he stayed too long.

He's a top 10 QB all time. Probably top 7. So hell yes.

He gets my vote with Rickey Jackson second, followed by Willie Roaf. Unless you want to count field goal kickers.

Lutz will never be called Mr. Automatic, or have his name called for enshrinement for the HOF.

Only two kickers are in the HOF.

Yes because of all of the success and records, but you could argue Ricky Jackson.

11-time Pro Bowl selection and nine-time All-Pro Willie Roaf is certainly in the conversation. You have to give the edge to the QB if things are roughly equal.

You are asking this on a board where a majority of posters only started watching the saints when Brees signed or shortly there after lmao
