Interesting interview from Kamara

Kamara hinting that certain players aren’t preparing properly. He knows himself, demario, thomas and jordan are ready to go. I do wonder if Penning benching had something to do with this, plus Olave half-assung routes or even Shaheed not being on the same page with Carr at times. Also interesting that Kamara and all these players come from the Brees/Payton era where maybe these preparation habits were learned.

Olave has been very disappointing here lately

That was an interesting interview. He mentioned Carr and McCoy as guys putting in the work too.
He’s definitely calling some guys out

Shaheed had the one play where he ran the wrong route but you take away the plays he made and then what would the results look like then?

Sorry, I can’t take anyone seriously who beat the shite out of someone in public with his crew. If I can’t trust that guy not to act like a criminal in the offseason, then I can’t trust him to be prepared to play a football game. If he’s a “leader”, that explains a lot about this team.

I’m not hating on Shaheed but maybe its just a mentality. He was great today but still be ready every play.

That is hilarious coming from someone who was suspended for the beginning of the season. Maybe kamara should quit acting the fool in the off-season.

He’s talking about football related stuff, not giving life advice.

On the field Kamara is one of the most prepared and talented athletes we have. So kind of dumb to act dismiss his work ethic and play on the field based off an off field incident when the season was over. There was a sexual battery investigation on Cam Jordan too. Do you not trust what he says as well?

He missed football stuff due to his own irresponsible actions. He has no room to lecture anyone. The fact that he only missed three games is a disgrace to the nfl.

Players are hearing worse coaching than they got in college.
They are tuning out stupidity.

There were also a handful of instances of Cam getting physical w people at that club that was down the street from Red Eye (same block, just don’t recall the name)

Y’all are being stupid now. Kamara is one of the 5 best players to ever wear a saints uniform. What he says matters.

Yet you have room to judge who he can or cannot lecture about football? I’m sure you stayed out of trouble but how much professional football have you played to judge who he can lecture?
Hes one of the best running backs in the league with great work ethic. On the field, he plays his arse off and hes only talking about football.

Coaching failure on 2 fronts here. 1 for having players not properly praying; and 2 letting it get bad enough that it hits the media

Agreed. But if coaches aren’t holding these guys accountable, players feel like someone has to. Best way to do that, is call people out publicly.

Just seen a post on Instagram, him and Jameis were on the sideline arguing. AK look frustrated.

Carr also mentioned he had to be calmed down on the sidelines. I do place some blame on Carr here for this season but looks like players are hitting that crisis mode button mainly again because coaches can’t get these players in line or proper coaching especially on offense.

All you had to do is look at Allen’s regime with the Raiders and his personality to know he’s not it at head coach. Good def coordinator but he’s norv tuner on defense….

I'm a big Shaheed fan.
And yes he wasn't ready every time. Olave and Shaheed were both not alert when they had passes thrown to them in the endzone. Cannot have that.
I wouldn't say any of the WR's had a bad game. But if you aren't ready for that one play it could make or break a game open.
On that last play I knew Carr was going for Mike all day. But at that point the Saints were down a few starters on the O-line and those last few attempts were hard to watch because you knew Carr was feeling too much pressure.
I've crapped on Carr a lot but I'm standing with him after today. I'm trying to be more optimistic and not some harsh mother fricker all the time. I really am. But it's tough.
