Buddy says past few days Saints have had discussions about a veteran WR. Without giving me his name directly through hints and such I came upon the conclusion that it is Randy Moss. He says they hadn't made a decision on wether or not they would pursue the WR by last night.

That would be a desperation move. Disapprove.

"It is Randy Moss."

"Let me figure it out. Let's see. Black guy?"

"Its Randy Moss dude."

"Dreads or no dreads?"

He still demands respect on the deep routes. We have Joe Morgan (and Jimmy Graham to a certain extent) for that, but nobody else besides that.
If it's down to Randy Moss or bringing back Devery Henderson (and trust me, I'd love to bring Devery back) I can't say that bringing in Moss isn't the better option.

As long as we pay the minimum or close to it.

A geriatric receiver who takes off plays when he feels like it? A guy who will take reps away from our up-and-coming players (Toon, Morgan)?

Still disapprove.

honestly feel if he's still in good health he could have a 600-700yard year with us and give us a deep option that's a bit more consistent than joe morgan

I'm not saying we should spend any cap money on Moss... but I doubt he would cost a whole helluva lot.

a roll of quarters and a LeRoi Glover meal from Popeyes should do the trick.

Devery helps in the run game with his blocking. Moss isn't know for that.

Toon is a different type of receiver. I honestly think it would be a rotation of Morgan and Moss as a deep receiver if he were brought in.
