Since you deem the 7 missed tackles as "hand tackles", I get at least 4 true missed tackles, you get banned til the day after the superbowl. easy right? you know, since all the missed tackles were just hand tackles and its a horrible HORRIBLE stat.

I didn't say I deem 7 missed tackles as hand tackles.

You sure seem to not be confident in anything you say avoiding all these bets. Still waiting to start the needle in a haystack search for someone besides me that truly considers you an idiot. All you gotta do is accept the bet.

#2 in line to consider Rex an idiot. You might have 55 years of watching football, but you sure take a long time to process and understand the game. Might be time to get new glasses, or a bigger tv.

Better yet, I know the solution. It's SIMPLE.

Watching the game.

Let me tell you something about "missed tackles" or "broken tackles"... it's so nebulous that it's not an official NFL stat. Inasmuch as there are eleven players on defense one could probably count WAY MORE than seven "missed tackles" on Ingram's 14 carries... why stop at seven? Why not 140?

I said I don't recall any broken tackles, and I don't. I don't recall a single instance when Ingram broke out of the clutches of a tackler, or bowled one over, or bounced off one, or made somebody miss who given his position on the play absolutely should have tackled him. Maybe there was one or two... I don't recall it because although I was thrilled that he gained so many yards I wasn't THAT impressed.

Do you know how I KNOW neither you nor htran nor anybody else on this site truly considers me an idiot?

I'm pretty sure I consider you an idiot. If I had to bet anything and everything I owned, I'm still taking the bet that I'm pretty sure of it.

Don't worry, I'll wait for you to take the bet that he broke out of a "true tackle".

Why would I take a bet when I HAVE CLEARLY STATED that he might have broken a tackle or two, although I have my doubts because they're not within my recall.

Like I said, stop acting like a child.

I would assume your vast 55 years of football knowledge, oh wise one, that you could even recall a rare event as a broken/missed tackle or a juke of some sort from a failure of a RB. I mean, it was so few before that it was a shocker to 99% of the people watching the game.

It's okay though ole chap, maybe when your old frail back works better you can get the remote to turn the tv on. Do you want to make some bet with me so you can feel superior and take my money so you can pay someone to listen to your vast knowledge?

Are you saying Mark Ingram performed SEVEN rare events last night on just fourteen carries?

The next time you make sense will be your first.

since he's so bad, him breaking tackles/making players miss tackles is rare correct? I'm surprised you didn't catch it. Oh wait...you didn't watch the game.

Oh great wise one, now we're resorting to grammar as defensive tactics. You trolls are so weak these days. I feed you guys, but you give me nothing to enjoy..

Ingram looked pretty impressive out there to me. He found the holes, showed some acceleration but no he doesn't have chris johnson speed but did emmett smith. Not saying he's emmett but I think if he gets touches and gets in a groove,,,,he can do damage.

Here's a little light in your dark cave world rex.

By your and I mean rex's own words you say you don't remember a juke move or a knock down or broken tackle or bounce off or run out of the clutches by MI vs dallas.

Then you say you just weren't impressed.

Well I guess not. If you can't remember one damn thing about MI's play so why would you be impressed?

Case solved.

It's YOU who brought up the topic of "what matters"
You're absolutely right. I brought it up because production >>> "how he looked," which is your premise. To answer your original question, I was impressed with his production. You apparently were not impressed with "what you saw." Which absolutely no one cares about but you.

If I took the time to dispute every lie and insult hurled my way there'd be little time for anything else. Your "deemed" on that score is about as wise as your "deemed" that Mark Ingram's one performance against a shitty defense is "all that matters"... i.e., not very.
You should at least own your misery and not blame others for stating the obvious.
