I would like to, but your kind of still not owning your ignorance. All of the posters on here who follow the draft, prospect rankings etc, knew the ranking of the prospects and tried to point out that we got extremely good draft values on all of our pics starting with Marshon Lattimore at number 11.
To say it 'wasnt a bad draft' and then reiterate your draft day complaint that we didnt get a pass rusher is rather meh.
More like we fricking lucked out when the top ranked cornerback fell to no. 11. Lattimore was top 5 on almost all draft boards, and we got him at a position of need. CB and DE were both our top needs, and we addressed both this offseason.
In the draft we got two situational pass rushers, Hendrickson is a freak athlete, 4.65 forty at 6'4 265. Okafor will be our starter.
And we got the No. 1 CB, a freaky talented CB prospect in Lattimore. 4.36 at his size with insane hops, long arms etc. and we resigned Sterling Moore as cheap insurance.
Add to that we got the no 1 rated Offensive tackle in this draft at pick no 32. This was also a major position of need being that Armstead and Andrus Peat have been hurt on and off, and streif is 34, not to mention we are the team that runs six lineman sets more than any other team in the NFL.
And we got a plus talented linebacker in Anzalone, size and 4.6 forty, can tackle and cover, and Kamara, an offensive stud, who can fill our satellite back role, whi some analysts rated as a 1st round talent.
This was an excellent draft, and there's a reason its being ranked by nfl.com and others as one of the top five drafts for teams.
So yeh. Thanks but you still didnt own up that mcuh to say its 'not bad' and then complain about pass rush.

Good men ask for forgiveness. All men should forgive. You are forgiven. Next draft, be kind, patient, and respectful. Sincerity is measured over time.

I appreciate the OP. I had to leave here a few times. It might have been worse than game days as far as being overrun with mostly non ST posters- or at least draft ignorant posters.
The sum total of Kikaha, Okafor, and Hendrickson opposite of Jordan might surprise us. The step from a 7-9 team to contender will take some surprises somewhere. It was a Sharper that had little free agent interest that came in 2009 and rally sparked the D. Okafor 8 sacks, Klein proving to be a solid defensive QB, Rankins steps up another level, Lattimore shutdown from day one, etc.- there are many individual scenarios that could be the story for 2017.

Weak apology. You are not forgiven. And it seems like you still are reserving your right to go back and say the draft sucks again.
"Cautious optimism" ?????
This draft was a reuben foster away from being a dream draft. AS it stands its easily A-.
B+ at worst
