If you didn’t expect last nights outcome, you’re blind

I kind of don’t understand the freak out.
1. Atl has elite OL/DL and the best RB in the league… if you didn’t know they’d run the ball down our throats and get good pass rush… what have you been watching?
2. We have improved the roster but we are still rebuilding and don’t have depth, once injuries happen we look terrible.
3. The OL should be better. Richards obviously isn’t the only problem and I’d love to see Wright get some playing time to see if he’s the answer at RG for the future.
4. This season was all about making sure Shough is the guy, and he’s proven that and he’s got the skill players he needs. A running game would help though.
5. This offseason will be all about building up the defense through the draft and free agency. We need a pass rusher opposite Young, we need another run stuffing DT, we need a true CB1.

it's quite simple.
we already wasted 4 years. 21, 22, 23, 24. the rebuild shoulda been done.
now we just get started last year. 2025.
we have shite ownership
shite GM
shite babyface soft HC
shite players all over
all these o line draft picks who are shitting the bed.
we draft a clown who was injury riddled and now he is hurt again
nobody has any faith this club can rebuild properly. zero.
the whole org needs to be purged from the top down.
you need a jim finks type to come in here and blow it all up.
loomis is a cuck clown.
and it will stay that way until gayle wakes up from her comatose stance on football.

I'm not ready to throw the towel in on Moore just yet. He's been a mixed bag for me from jump (remember, nobody else wanted this job; he was choice number 8-10).
The good: QB looks great, offense can get rolling despite its flaws, team played with a lot of heart during his first season, second half adjustments have been stellar for the most part
The bad: formation penalties riddled us all last season and into this one (that is 100% coaching; SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN), game prep has been horrendous with awful first halves (no this is not like boxing as someone posted 2 weeks ago), he seems to have little passion
I hesitate to put the talent vacuum on him, since we don't know how much influence he actually has on it all. I'm sure he has some (Shough), but that ultimately falls on the front office.
I think we need to see a solid 3 years before truly judging Moore, unless this team goes completely off the rails this season. This was an awful showing of a game, but just prior to this we had 2 stellar performances and 1 mixed bag.

another? that implies we already have one. And to correct your statement: we don't need a run stuffing DT; we need a dominant control the LOS one. Run stuffing is a specialty item, and we need a do it all guy.

The total lack of depth on the OL,DL is the problem .Both lines were putrid last night mainly because of injuries.Thats where the lack of depth comes in.Its hard to believe with all the 1 and 2nd draft choices the Saints have on the lines their still so bad.Loomis just hasn’t got the job done.Ever since Tom died the will to win has been lost.

Against the saints, sure. In no way are those units elite

The only real argument that the Saints were going to win last night was related to it being the Katrina game anniversary.
The injuries that weakened our run defense was CLEARLY a major problem for a team like Atlanta.
People also won't be able to ignore how bad the OL is now. That reality will hurt our passing game significantly moving forward.
