You do realize he signed a contract, right? We've known this for weeks.

Some people don’t realize this. It was all speculation, because u ca not show me anything from anyone confirming prior to this.

"his last" hasn't exactly been detailed but maybe assumed.

I think he saying that Sean hinted that the upcoming season will be his last. Not the fact that he is actually coming back for this season which is well known

He didn’t hint, he said Drew is coming back for his last season.

Yep I just listened to it. He actually used the term “final” season which feels even more impactful to me. There isn’t any misconstruing that

Good. That needs to be public so the fans can send drew off properly

With recent reports of ESPN pursuing Drew, it's reasonable to conclude that Drew will be in the broadcast booth on MNF for the 2021 NFL season.

As another poster alluded to, you've got to be talking about confirming it's his final season, as compared to it being very well known and documented that he's signed a 2 year $50M contract.

Forgive the confusion.

So does that mean Drew is 36 mil dead money on the 2021 cap and don't even play in 2021?

They going to sell the house to get an impact player to help drew. That would be weird to talk about a window and then use your assets on the post-window period. Dont see that happening. Mickey has been very free this offseason with talking about trading future assets to move up, more free than ever before that I've seen.

I thought they were going to sell everything to move up to 8-12 to get isaiah Simmons. He fills one of the only real holes we have at olb with exactly what we need. But now I see him mocked in top 5 consistently. Dont think its realistic anymore.

I like to rag on Brees, but Christ this guy has been the ultimate ambassador for NOLA.

Has there ever been a QB to endure more gut wrenching playoff losses than #9?

-Beast Mode in Seattle
-Alex Smith/Vernon Davis in SF
-Minny Miracle
-NOLA No Call

Yeah I’m more convinced now that we will move up for Queen or Murray or Jefferson in the draft. Or whoever they feel like is someone that can come in immediately and be impactful
