frick it I hope we do and we go winless so this REALLY can be all on Loomis and force his arse out. We are going nowhere with Loomis involved.

There's no coach that will make y'all happy.
McCarthy is an offensive minded coach who knows how to run a team and probably will be happy to get out from under Jerry's thumb. Sants could do a lot worse
This. Our fan base is fricking retarded so what else do you expect. I’d prefer Brady, personally, but McCarthy wouldn’t be a bad hire at all.

I’m good with the hire. I think there is so much pressure in Dallas with Jerry I think he would thrive in a smaller market like he did in Green Bay

McCarthy is closer to Sean Payton than any of the other guys we have been linked to.
Yep McCarthy can field a good team when not hamstrung by a GM Owner. He’s our best option right now.

I'll take Mike, we need an experience HC for a lame duck organization.

Did he thrive because it was a smaller market, or because he had prime Rodgers?

I mean he had 3 straight 12-5 seasons with dysfunctional arse Jerry running the show and Dak. He was clearly more than just Rodgers

He is a re-tread and will do nothing for us. You need new blood. I'll take klingsbury or brady.

This whole thread pretty much sums up my feelings:
-yes, him and SP are similar... in winning a lot of games, choking in the playoffs, and essentially wasting generational QBs with shite decisions in the playoffs.
-I'd rather new blood like Brady or Johnson, but I'm not sure we could even pull Brady. No chance on BJ.
-we could do a lot worse and Mike can at least navigate us through the next couple years.

Yes he got fired basically. He was a lame duck this year. Do you know what it means buddy?

Imagine how fat he would get with the Louisiana food

How isn't klingsbury a retread?

No doubt. There’s no pleasing most of this fan base. Compare records including playoff W/L records with McCarthy Payton & Tomlin. We could most definitely do worse.
