If we had a choice, would you prefer Derek Carr or Aaron Rogers as QB next season?

AR is a toadstool. If you want a toadstool he's your guy.

Nobody wants Rodgers at this point.

I don’t even know if the Packers will sign him to a one day contract so he can retire a Packer at this point.

Carr gives you slightly above average play for below average salary. He’s fine for this team right now.

I’ll literally take any professional QB not named Carr.

frick him. He sucks and makes the games unwatchable.

I genuinely wonder if people with these kind of takes watch the games. Carr isn’t an elite QB, but he’s plenty serviceable. There’s a whole lot of QBs starting in the league worse than him. Including Rodgers.

This is such an embarrassing take. He’s far from elite but how could you watch the Rattler/Haener games and come away with this impression after. Consider underwater basket weaving instead of professional football.

All I'm worried about is if we have a solid offensive line. The qb doesn't matter until that's settled

Well Dennis Allen has already been fired so we don't need Aaron Rodgers for that but he did get the jets GM fired also. Hell give him a 1 year deal to get rid of Loomis

Rogers had his last two teams and fans hating him. Think I’d go with Carr.

“Douche of a human”

Explain. Where exactly is this take coming from? We stuck in the past from 5 years ago just bc he has some beef w his family? He’s one of the few professional athletes with a spine towards the media/vax nonsense. Do you work for the media or Phizer or something? We mad at him bc he’s not as good after an Achilles tear?

Dude has always been an obnoxious count.

I really dont care where anyone stands on the vax convsersation but there is enough outside of that as well. He is always throwing guys under the bus when half the time its his fault. He is objectivly a bad team mate and cries when things dont go his way.

You can also make the point he is somewhat of a coach killer as well.

Alot of the old school team mates that played with him in GB said as much

The point right now is he is not near good enough to put up with his baggage.

Rodgers comes with tons of baggage. Old, injury prone, headlines, distractions etc. But Rodgers when healthy is still 1000x better than Carr. Rodgers gives you a chance at being great if everything goes perfectly. Carr is a guaranteed loser. That’s just a proven fact at this point.

With all that said I doubt you can win anything of significance with Rodgers at this point. I’m all for losing as many games as possible next year to help our rebuild. And for that reason Carr is the perfect quarterback for us
