How we lose matters a bit. If DA is going to get fired, it has to look like the wheels are coming off.

Probably not. I would be shocked if DA is fired before season’s end; no matter the record.

My question is, is this all due to the fact that we were so productive (winning) for the past 15 years? I mean, with Drew and Payton we were 152-89 with one SB, and 9 playoff berths and 7 NFC South titles.
Before that, 234-336 with 5 playoff appearances (since inception) and zero titles.
Obviously you don't just lose a great QB like Drew and then continue winning, but are they just content with all this garbage play bc of the previous success?

Keep Dennis Allen and position ourselves for a great draft pick. Hell, since we keep kicking the can, keep Allen another year and let's get a good draft pick next year! My only hope is that we keep losing and somehow draft Jayden Daniels! I'm moving my chips all in for tanking the next couple seasons to rebuild our roster! Dennis Allen is the man for the job in that respect!

Why would that be unfortunate? It'd basically put the nail in the coffin of Allen returning next season and also the locker room would throw in the towel which would get us a top 10 pick.
If we lose to Carolina and fall to 5-8 there ain't any quick fix coaching change that would accomplish besides sending the pick in the wrong direction.

If they lose?? I have zero faith that the Saints will win again this year. I’m not sure they understand that the point of football is to score more points than their opponents. They seem like they are trying to do as much as possible to do the complete opposite of win.

Chris Long said to def stay away from the Saints in survivor this weekend.
He doesn't have any inside info, he just looks at stuff like this from a season flow type aspect. We are liable to have the wheels truly come off this week.

Well, they might as well fire him now because they’ll be lucky to win 5 games with that schedule next season.
