they should have all refused to play in the ProBowl. That would have been a more meaningful statement against the NFL than T-shirt’s or tweets.

And miss out on an all expenses paid vacation for their families to Orlando?

They make decent money to skip it.

Seems like many great players skip out on the probowl.

But yes, we know they get money and a nice trip to wherever it is.

Replacements have to participate if they want that Pro Bowl label next to their year.

Not really. Lots of players blow off the pro bowl anyway so there wouldn't be any statement in them doing so.

Either they all should have told the nfl to shove it or everyone should have worn protest clothing.

Collectively they pull the douchebag kneeling shite but can't seem to assemble and do something constructive about this fiasco

The great players don’t need the money. Kamara is still young and needs to get all the money he can at this point in his life. The shelf life is short for his position he won’t be playing when he is 40 like Brees.

I’m not even sure how big of a statement it would have made. I’ve never watched the pro bowl even when I wasn’t butt hurt.

If every player from the same team refuses to go and makes a public statement saying the reason they refuse to go, it most certainly would make waves. And sports media would be forced to talk about it, and that would keep the issue in the spotlight.

That is not the same as random star players that decline the invitation every year.

If Saints’ players really wanted to make a statement:

anything they did would get them fined into bankruptsy and suspended by the league for several games if not a full year or permanently depending on the level of what they do to cause embarrassment to the league

you guys need to stop the BS and face reality, anything they do or say ruins their careers or whatever is left of their careers

Fined into bankruptcy and suspened for declining an invitation to the Pro Bowl?
