Unless one of them is at the very least a definite improvement over Winston. If any were franchise caliber throw the draft at them. IMHO none of them check those boxes.

If we are drafting them for next season, I agree. I'd hope we were thinking about 2 years and out when making this decision

I'd take Pickett. I think he has potential to be a top QB if he sits a year behind Jameis to learn. That's the only guy I'm ok taking in the 1st.

Yes, you take one if you feel he can become a franchise QB for you. If that pushes Winston to ball out in two years, then you trade the young QB for picks. If not, you have a promising young QB to build around.

Jameis is better equipped to win a super bowl this year, if not draft one next year with Dallas’ first rounder for CSP. Draft OL/WR with 16/19…

That would be a great problem for the Saints to have at 16. They would 100% trade down.

I think in a normal year with a legit qb crop none of these guys would be talked about as first rounders.

If we nail our first pick I'd be ok with Pickett with the second if he's still there.

Me personally, no, but if the front office snd coaching staff have done all their homework and truly believe there’s a guy there that can be the long term guy, I can’t be mad if they take him. I trust our scouting department, I’d take them over any other in the league. If they’re bought in on a QB then I trust them.
But that said, considering the implications, if we do it and it’s a miss, they should all lose their jobs.

I think it’s ridder. Right after saints traded up, his stock has been rising.

The jury is still well out on Jameis. He’s super talented but has yet to put it all together. He showed promise last year and then was injured. Does he return hungrier? Guess we’ll see.

I like this better - get a wr or OT at 16. If one of the qbs we like are that at 19, then do it

Good. The more qbs taken before us the better.
OT seems to be a must if one of top rated are there at 16. Would love to have the jets 2 top of 2nd round picks. So much wr, oline and safety help available.
