Taysom is arguably a better runner and much better passer than Lamar and a lot of these young qbs breaking into the league.

He’s the heir to Drew imo

I wouldn’t say he’s a better runner that’s a stretch

I’d love it if this happens and works out.

Imo he’s smart and knows the system really well, plus he’s very accurate and that’s key to Sean’s system.

I think he's a different runner. Taysom is more likely to run someone over, Jackson is more likely to hurdle them.

Lamar Jackson is 22 yo. Taysom about to turn 29 in a few days. What's 7 years in life or NFL life?

Very questionable takes on this board. Love Taysom. But he excels as a gadget player. Not a full blown QB.

I love Taysom, but he is not known for his accuracy

This is a stupid take that you’re only regurgitating because that’s what pundits say. He looked good operating the whole offense and until we see him in a game operating the offense, it’s unfair to make this claim.

Once teams get film on him it's game over. We need a QB fir this team after Drew and we don't have one. We have a stop gap player. We need to draft Trevor lawrence in 2021. Tank next year but I know we won't. We will do just enough to go back to mediocrity.

yeah he would have to have very good accuracy and be able to read a D like a book....also do RPO quickly....then with his speed, scrambling and zone read ability he would cut through defenses. brees cannot run like him.

I'd say it's down right stupid. Hill is not a game changing runner. Lamar is

Hill has an iq over 20 so he’s got that in Lamar...

Wow! What an original take. I'm sure no GMs are thinking of drafting TL. Your plan might just work!

It would if we go 1-15 next year.

He struggles with touch passes, or anything that requires loft. His throws all look like Nolan Ryan fastballs.

At 29, he is what he is as a passer. Not consistent enough to be an every down qb on a Superbowl contender.

Why can't we just enjoy how we use him now?
