You run to the podium like a Leprechaun with that card

The Bills will snag Watson before us

Or the Browns at 12.
They, the Browns, have an opportunity to snag Fournette, Watson, plus add some draft picks...Or they can go with Myles Garrett. Seems like a no brainer to me. But the Browns gonna Browns.

Look I've never been with wasting a high pick on a Qb with Brees here but this guy is special. Lit up a saban D twice, 3 year grad, he looks like a great leader. We can fill some needs with FA and the rest of the draft.
Brees "not sure how much longer I can do this, tired of saying next year, next year"
He's not going for an extension, if we don't make the playoffs he's on the way out! The New Orleans Saints are bigger than Drew Brees ,screw loyalty, frick all that shite you prepare for the worst and do whats best for your team. Saddens me posting this but eventually we have to prepare to go foward
Watson is the total package with some speed. You get him with Sean Payton, trade up if he's 3-4 spots away

absolutely. Give him a couple years to learn from Brees and SP. I think its time to prepare for the future. we can get good D players in later rounds imo. But this guy is a franchise player.

Not sure I'd trade up to get him, but if he's there at 11, yea, I'd take him.

Watson will be gone before #3 .
We have a clear shot at Reuben Foster though

So you watched one game and want to draft a player. Tisk-tisk. I like Watson, but he's not a need and we have plenty of needs. Allen & Barnett are the only people we run to the podium for IMO.

2 qb's in top 10 will be great... 3 would be outstanding.

I thought we were getting the scientist from Tennessee?
Posted on 1/10/17 at 9:52 am to goatmilker
I'm usually totally against taking a QB as long as the Brees' window is open, but I'm onboard with Watson.

I watch cfb all year long not just this one game. He will be a need if Drew Brees decides he needs to play somewhere else after next year. We are on a year by year basis with him sad as it sounds. We gotta snag Watson if possible. If not then go with the best Defensive player.

The Browns are definitely not taking LF7 at #1. Maybe at 12 I could see it though.

I would trade up to get this guy. Not only did he single handed won the game last night, he is his own OC. I want the Saints to have a future and Deshaun is that. What the Saints have now is something he can build around. DRAFT HIM MICKEY LOOMIS!

I like the kid and he will do well in the NFL.
I just don't want a top 3 pic going to another QB.
Two things I saw on DW.
He can throw a back shoulder pass and has good touch on the short routes.
One big negative to me(did anyone else notice?) as he is standing in the pocket his feet often don't move at all. This will cause a bad injury at the next level and it will make it harder to quickly go through his progressions.

he had a good game but his WRs had to make some incredibly impressive catches to keep those drives going.

No he isn't. They signal the calls in from the sideline for the entire team to see. Plus, SP does not allow Brees to call his own plays; except for in the no huddle (And my guess is he still tells DB what to do). Would you really expect him to allow a young QB to call their own plays?
