With Flacco heading to Denver, what's the boards thoughts on Case Keenum? I personally would rather him than Flacco if I were Denver. #Elwaying

Will Case be cut or traded. I read on MSB that Giants name is floating due to Shurmur's relationship.

There’s a reason Minnesota let him walk after his best season ever and a trip to the NFC championship. He’s not very good

Teams don’t tyically just let legitimate NFL starting QBs leave town

Foles is the QB I would target. Can you imagine someone who gets the ball out that quick in a Sean Payton offense?

So they could sign Cousins, and not go to the playoffs.

I'm sure he'll be considered, but I almost rather have Hill as the backup. Brees doesn't get hurt often, and when he does it's not serious/long term in nature, so I'd almost go with running a package of plays with Hill (like the Ravens did with L. Jackson) and take my chances at winning 1-2 games that way.

I think we are getting Manning if not him then Rosin or Nick Foles but if not him then it will be Tyrod Taylor which if that fails then we go for Keenum but if that doesn't work out we mortgage the farm and move up to draft Kylar Murray or get Haskins as our last fall back.

I’d rather draft someone

I don't think we can. Unless they reverse some of the penalty rules the DB backs (most of the time) are at a disadvantage and we need someone who can put up 300+ yards a game. I don't think TH can do that consistently.

Did you watch him in the pre-season? Dude could easily average 250+ in the air and 50+ on the ground.

I like Keenum as a back up in our system. I don’t like his current contract, but I’d sign him as a backup and bridge QB for when Drew leaves.

And Hill isn’t a all time staring QB. He’s already 28 years old and is good at what he does. We aren’t going to start RPOing all the time.

I did. I think we need someone who can consistently put up 300.

Keenum would fit this system well & would be a nice bridge but only if he is cut & we sign him on our own terms
