Yeah I know that sounds absurd but they’re doing what they must to make a change. A major change, which is what the Saints need also.

Now unlike us, they don’t have a dumbass GM that hands away draft picks left and right so they’ll have a shot to draft their future QB and hope for the best.

Just hoping for a full tank in 2023 and then draft Caleb Williams in 2024. Future is bleak but Payton brought a bottom tier franchise to the NFC championship his first year. It can be done.

Guess I’d rather have hope for the future than be depressed with the current product, one that’s going no where.

At least they probably gonna have a top 1 or 2 pick. Gonna have a shot at getting a QB. Eagles gonna be picking somewhere close to there too with the Saints pick. Smh

They may continue to suck for years but at least their fans will have hope.

This current saints team is hopeless and it needs a house cleaning of coaches and Loomis. Hope Gayle is up for the task

This team has a loss or two without the penalties and fumbles. Two things uncharacteristic of saint team. The process is sound, the results haven’t been there. The HC hire was bungled

It can’t continue for longer than a season, right? The whole point was consistency and playoffs. It’s definitely not that.

The Panthers don’t trade away first round draft picks with reckless abandon

Currently the Eagles own the 5th pick in the draft

You didn't say "first round" draft picks.

Dude look at how many times they drafted last year. They don't even have all their picks this year, either

How is it hopeless.

Saints should've won today. Cry baby.

Ah, the delusional “we should be 5-1” post. Yeah, we “should have won” but we didn’t.

How is it not hopeless? This team is just prolonging the rebuild. We’re in limbo. What could you REASONABLY expect from a team with this roster? Maybe a playoff birth at 9-8 or 8-9? We’re nowhere close to being contenders and we trade away our future firsts every other year it seems like.
