Is that a term that has been around a while?

I don’t know why it makes me chuckle so much.

is a qb allowed to throw more hospital balls than a wide receiver allowed to drop in your hand balls?

Maybe the term should reflect on the fragility of the receiver than the accuracy of the QB. Maybe Brees' accuracy masked a lot of MT weaknesses?

Colton had a whole lotta hospital balls thrown by Brees' and he never cried like MT. Colton was one tough dude!

100% correct.

none of these soft premadama WRs in todays game would last two plays in the era of Lynn Swann, Marc Duper, Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, ect.. You know when NFL players didn't wear skirts.

Could imagine Michael Thomas playing against Ronnie Lott or Steve Atwater? One game and he'd have his gender reassigned for him.

Marques Colston toward the downside of his career played with nerve damage in both his shoulders.

It was difficult for him to grip the football. Despite these limitations, he played with little complaints. He is the epitome of one of the toughest and best players in Saints history.

Drew Brees had to really be accurate when the Colston shoulders’ problem manifested because Marques‘ catch reach range had declined.

Marques Colston is a very unappreciated WR in NFL history. Once you’ve seen him play injured and the sacrifices he made, you never take a Michael Thomas player seriously for anything they say.

It’s a term that’s been around for a long time, I remember hearing it at least 15 years ago.

And as much as MT13 is a whiny bitch, and potentially crazy... he’s 100% correct here.

I’ve said the same thing all year watching games. Carr throws WAYYY more hospital balls then any other QB in the league. He’s constantly putting his WRs in harm’s way with floated balls over the middle, too far in front, just leaving guys out to get killed on a unprotected hit.

MT13 got banged up plenty of times this year from it
Olave more than a handful of time AT LEAST
Shaheed got a couple
Juwan Johnson

It’s inevitable that you’ll eventually catch a bad ball as a WR in the NFL and be hung out to dry by the QB, but Carr inexplicably does it seemingly at a much higher rate. If I’m a WR I don’t want him to be my QB either. His numbers are decent, but he hung way too many throws out there for guys to get hurt. And the data backs it up, the WRs and TEs were banged up all year

When all you can run is slant routes to the middle of the field, you need to man up. Acts like he is DK Metcalf but is soft as baby shite.
