Looks like he’s developing nicely with each game. Had a big sack last week and made a few good plays today. With the attention Cam and Rankins have been getting I can see him tearing it up moving forward.

Once he figures out the timing of the snap and doesn’t hesitate when the ball is snapped he will be lights out. His explosiveness evens some of that out though.

That was a crazy freak move he made to go inside the LT to take down Barkley. Crazy.

You can tell he is late getting off the ball, but that’s something that comes with experience. He will be a good player for us. We’ll if he was worth an extra first rounder in a couple years, but im okay with it right now for sure. He will have a breakout game soon imo. He needs more snaps though.

Edit: it’s tough because Okafor has been playing pretty well tbh. And Cam isnt sitting. A good problem to have though.

Went up against one of the best tackles in football as well! It looks like we may have quite the duo in Jordan and Davenport

Yep, if he gets quicker off the snap he will be deadly

Solder routinely ranks near the top of PFF's run blocking efficiency year in and year out. That's a nice win for the rookie

You crazy , Soldier is one of the best LT in the game . He’s a big reason for Brady staying healthy

From ESPN: DE Marcus Davenport, 103 snaps out of 241 (42.7 percent). The Saints gave up a 2019 first-round pick to move up and take Davenport, and he has been a big part of their pass rush, as 61 percent of his snaps (a team high) have come with him getting after the QB. -- Shah

Will have double digit sacks by the end of the season, and if anyone who thinks that is a bust needs to go watch another sport... maybe some German sport

Straight up, he needs to be on the field more.

he does, but i'm ok with bringing him along slowly as well. I think by later in the season and next year, the slower transition would have served him well. Okafor isn't bad and hopefully it keeps davenport healthy taking less reps.

We’re making too much of his late get off. That’s only one of many techniques to get to the passer. He can add that later. Right now, he’s changing the shape of the pocket, playing the run well, and not jumping offsides.

I think after the Bye week you're going to see more and more of him. I expect him playing starter snaps by the end of the season.
