I have seen Dalton perform. I have seen the good and the bad from Winston.

Dalton does not deserve to be the starter. Saints are not making the playoff and Dalton is a good backup at best. But Winston is young. If he performs well maybe his has trade value. Not much but maybe a little. I just don't understand Dalton starting unless Winston is hurt at this point it really doesn't matter I guess who starts.

IMHO
(Good Winston > Dalton > Bad Winston) < Noodle Arm Brees < Prime Drew Brees

we had a top 5 offense with dalton for a 5 game stretch.
we've had two shite performances from the team.
make whatever of any of that you want to make. jameis doesn't want the job at this point. he doesnt' want to further deteriorate his whatever credibility he has left.

DA has come out and said Winston is not 100% and they are not sure if he'll be 100% this season. The fan in me, wanting to see the team try to put the best product forward, wonders how much worse can he be than Dalton at this point. Especially if you were willing to put him out there 2-3 weeks after he broke his back. The right thing to do with the issues within this team is to sit him for the year and let him get healthy.

Neither is capable of taking the offense on his back and carrying it when needed.
I said it Sunday and I’ll stand by it: the QB who takes us to our next playoff appearance is not on this roster. Loomis needs to take that high 2nd round pick next year and take a QB that has the potential to be a difference maker.

Dalton does not deserve to be the starter.
right so dalton comes in and with no WR and a bunch of our starters missing from the o-line he is still a top 5 QB in the league, and he is the highest scoring of any team in that time, yet you dont want him as our QB
all because the defense has been terrible the last few games and DA game plans and coaching have sucked all year
dalton is doing as good a job as brees did for us before he got old with his noodle arms, dalton isnt the problem
you idiots should just pick a new team like the jets and shitpost their forums

Brees needs to hop on some Lebron HGH and run it back

He’s still a better option than Jameis

This is after saying he was healthy but benched a couple weeks ago so his word is pretty untrustworthy on the matter. Also, fricking start Taysom at QB then.

I agree - we have not yet seen young Jameis take the field when he is fully healthy and able to utilize his considerable athletic traits, such as the ability to extend plays or even to progress the ball down the field via a "run" instead of a traditional quarterback "pass".

Brady got the real stuff but the facial side effects are scary.

Winston, like others, is opting out.
DA has lost this team. Pure and simple.

No chance in hell. Winston is bad. Dalton is garbage

His health is his biggest asset. He’s absolute trash. He’s a blockhead with an IQ of 60.

Prior to being benched this year, Winston had regressed to making really bad throwing decision ... really bad.

Agree, but there's no way in hell I'm putting my QB in that is rehabbing 3 injuries against the best defensive tackle in the game. Not to mention all of the injuries to the starting OLine.
