TB is one of the worst professional QBs I have ever seen. Peyton is going to go down with him. This season is over for the Saints. Even if you are right, Brees coming off rust and surgery won't win them all or even most.

Very unlucky, but the Saints have had a great run. I'm going to enjoy having my Sundays back again and enjoy the memory of our glory years.

Unfortunately the time to work on the Saints future has arrived. Brees is done this season. Bridgewater will not win enough games to justify Brees seeing the field even if he recovers. We need to get a high draft pick and get a future QB. Maybe Brees comes back next year and we try another run while the new QB learns under him. We've seen this same scenario with Rodgers and the Packers.

This is like the 100th time I've seen why hill didn't play qb posted.. Kirkwood got hurt in the warm ups so the saints were down a wr. Hill pretty much filled his spots. I bet his snap counts had him at receiver the most he has ever played.

The teddy pumpers will be the new breed of the les miles pumpers that defended miles no matter what.

I don’t think Bridgewater can run the offense the way Payton likes....the way he has Drew run it. They will have to adjust a lot for Teddy. I don’t think it will work. He just doesn’t have the timing, the anticipation or the quick decision making to throw to a spot and trust the WR to be there. Thus the holding the ball too long and the oline problems that surface from it.

Nobody wants him over Drew. He's better than anything we can sign off the street. If he gets his groove back we have the successor. If he doesn't we know to draft one.

I like TB and our skill positions did him no favors.

That said he'll a game manager with the occasional shot downfield at best. Sean could probably get the best out of any QB but he simply is not a franchise QB. The only silver lining out of this situation is the team will have a good look at him and look elsewhere for a franchise QB without breaking the bank for Teddy imo.

I want a slight teddy injury(nothing serious) to see Taysom start ASAP.

Hell even a bad stomach virus just to let Hill flourish

I couldn't disagree with you more.

What did you see from Bridgewater that would leave you to beleive we have a snowball's chance in hell of winning 2 out of 5?

Maybe we didnt watch the same game.

Brees will not see the field unless the Saints have a chance at the playoffs. With Bridgewater at QB you can forget about that.

yesterday, teddy exhibited the same bad behavior as he did for most of the preseason: he holds onto the ball too long...

he is not the future for the saints... i would rather see taysom hill under center for the x factor he provides...

TB needs a few games so he can adjust to game speed. Once he starts to "see the field" he should be able to throw the ball quicker. Bree may be back before he adjusts. Hopefully it does not take that long.
He did a good job managing the game. We'll have to see how he does.

The truth is that Teddy did enough to win.
No one but trolls care how we win in Drew's absence.

Teddy moved through his progressions well and had a very strong pocket presence. I was kind of blown away.
