I don’t have an issue with a versatile DB on a team that plays nickel and dime a lot. Whether it’s a reach or not we will find out in a couple years. The saints have nailed their DB picks so I’m not going to question their talent evaluation at that position.

I know right. If there’s one thing the Saints have shown they aren’t good at, it’s drafting for the secondary.

This guy is ok . He had an ok year . He is not elite. Is CB such a position of need that we pass on elite players for this guy?

What elite players are left? And if they’re so elite, how come they haven’t been picked yet? I know this is crazy, but it’s possible teams’ boards don’t reflect the draft experts’ ones.

The board melted down on the Kamara pick. Nobody had any idea that he was elite. Not even the Saints. Fact is no one knows if anyone is elite on draft day.

Dean was by far the best player on Georgias team this year. He is elite. Guy is a fricking stud. Imagine our defense with Davis and Dean.

A lot of people disagree with you. He’s still there. He may end up a hall of famer, but no team believes that right now.

Nothing wrong with if, its just alot earlier than anyone projected him to be picked. He was a 4th round talent according to every scouting report I've seen so far (I just started really digging into him 10 mins ago lol).
I would've preferred Pickens, Sky Moore, Travis Jones or Nakobe Dean. All great players still available at positions of need.

NFL front offices care about measurable, sometimes too much. I think his size is the reason he's falling.

I heard he stays injured and is slow. It’s more than measurables at this point.

I did, I was in TN visiting my family and decided to go catch the TN Florida game. I remember thinking why in the hell is he the backup running back? He was great then TN just had a bone head for a coach.
