Dean was by far the best player on Georgias team this year.

Was he? Or was he just the beneficiary of all the attention being paid to all their studs that were drafted last night?

The nfl does overthink things sometimes but in general, they answer these types of questions. So yea…

And who are you to say he is or isn’t elite?

The board melted down on the Kamara pick. Nobody had any idea that he was elite. Not even the Saints. Fact is no one knows if anyone is elite on draft day.

My son was telling me he was hoping for that pick before they picked him. He thought he was gonna be a stolen gem. He was right.

What elite players are left? And if they’re so elite, how come they haven’t been picked yet? I know this is crazy, but it’s possible teams’ boards don’t reflect the draft experts’ ones.

Guess you missed the stat they threw up that 7 of the top 8 rec yards leaders since 2019 were taken out of the first round.

Guess none of those guys are ‘elite’
Should have double dipped on Pickens or Moore.

It sucks missing out on all this potential depth.

Wish we could trade back in at least once and make up those future picks down the road.

This guy is ok . He had an ok year . He is not elite. Is CB such a position of need that we pass on elite players for this guy?

49th pick you expect elite. This guy has given up 1 TD in the past 2 seasons and runs a 4.36 40yd.

How many were taken in the 1st and are not rec yards leaders?

Missing a little context here. 7 out of how many?

Maybe. You didn’t tell me who they are. But Id bet if they are elite and teams knew it at the time of their respective drafts, they would have taken them earlier, no?

I can't imagine why they think drafting a tall, physical DB would be beneficial in a division with Kyle Pitts, Mike Evans, Drake London, etc.

It's not like we need him to be a starter day 1. He'll be depth for now.
