Loomis is why Vrabel wouldn’t come here even if there was an opening. Vrabel wanted more control, Mickey and the made men aren’t bringing in an outsider to rock the boat, even if that boat is rapidly taking on water

Dennis Allen was a lazy hire and a terrible head coach. Even crazier that we are keeping him after what we have seen the last few years

Replacing Dennis Allen with any poster on this board is an upgrade. Replacing him with a moderately successful coach such as Vrabel is a massive upgrade.

Vrabel is highly-respected in NFL circles because of his success despite everyone knowing the Titans organization is a dumpster fire with a cheap owner.
If Allen got fired this year, he would have 0 other HC job offers. Contrast to Vrabel, who has enough clout to demand front office power for certain openings.
