Can't trade him for a player.
Sorta in the same idea though.... could the saints trade Sean and Thomas to the broncos for picks? Not sure about if a player and coach can be traded together.

Why on Gods green earth would you want to make that trade, even though we can't? He might have the worst contract in all of the NFL and has proven on a consistent basis that is just isn't that good.

OP just doesn’t understand the rules of trading a coach nor the value. Wouldn’t make sense for Dallas to do that deal at all.

You could create 2 different transactions.
Make 2 trades. One for a player and then trade Payton to them.
