What I saw yesterday was vintage Winston. Makes an unbelievable throw to Miller one play, then multiple throws into triple and quadruple coverage. He should have had several ints if it wasn’t for crap db’s that probably won’t be on a roster.
Likewise, Haener had a few perfectly thrown balls that were outright bad drops. Looking at you Krull. Stats aren’t everything, and for you to use that argument shows why after that performance yesterday.

This is why I can't take you seriously. You use bullshite stats convenient to your argument. Jameis has had players drop the ball too in game 1, yet is still playing better than Jake.

I don't know, maybe it's because we don't have the years of NFL experience like the current coaches do?
Maybe it's because the rookie is playing against third and fourth stringers?

There’s no way you can watch either game and tell me the offense doesn’t look smoother and organized with Haener. Absolutely no way. It’s not just that Haener is simply better, but he elevates the level of play around him with decision making.

So you think the offense looks better with Jameis? This is real football, not fantasy football, lil guy. There’s a separate board for that.

Please explain why the offense moved right down the field with Jake Haener at the helm on the last drive before the half yesterday, but the drive stalled when Jameis returned and he capped it off with a duck into quadruple coverage.

When the pocket is collapsing around Winston, the best he can do is eat it or do his spastic dips and rolls to get away from pressure and try to make the safe play. Unfortunately for him, when he gets consistent pressure in his face, he will eventually regress and put a few up for grabs.
Haener is a lot more athletic and can easily get out of the pocket to get room and buy time for the play to develop. His pose appears to be night & day compared to Jameis with pressure in his face, but we also know that is Jameis' biggest weakness. I would love to see this coaching staff give Haener game 3 (maybe a series for Carr if they feel they must) and give him a legit shot to unseat Winston for that 2 spot. There is way too much film out there and he's looked too good for the other 31 teams to let Haener sneak onto the PS; so he's taking a roster spot. This game could help decide if he's ready and if Winston should still have a spot on the 53.

Lol you mean the same drive in the 3rd quarter when his touchdown was overturned on an offensive p.i.?
I guess the holding penalties Jameis had to deal with don't count either that cost him multiple drives?

Except you're not beating up on anyone. You've been draining Jameis's balls for 3 years now despite several opportunities he's gotten as a starter and failed. It's a laundry list of excuses and nothing is ever Jameis's fault. Comical, actually. What you know so far isn't shite lil guy.

This coming from the guy ignoring all of the stats I've given over this preseason. You have still yet to address the multiple jamies offensive possession penalties that killed his drive and taken away td passes.

Look more poised than a 9 year vet that has been in the same offensive system for multiple years now?
because winston is pure trash and always has been
winston can be good in one situation only, if his target reciever gets open immediately and is wide open, then winston can throw a nice pass and make a good play. thats it
anything else winston is completely lost and cant go through his progression and find another target.
the winston cock gobblers will now rush to defend him with BS about potential and arm strength makes up for not getting first downs or being able to move the ball at all.
we saw what we always see with winston, zero production and not getting first downs.
im not saying they had much choice but to resign winston, but he should be 3rd on the depth chart from now on. that said, DA will not do the roight thing, so this team goes nowhere until DA is gone
