We have a new coach and a couple of rookies to keep an eye on. It’ll be interesting even if we don’t get the results we want

I just want to see some inkling that we’re on the right track.

I'm super excited....bought 20 tickets total for 5 games for about $1000(4 are 3 O'clock so I can drive there and back on gamedsy)...any other season they would of been well over 3 or 4k for the same tickets...,I'm actually optimistic and think we got a shot at winning our division....might throw a $100 on that optimism at 14-1
I'm have fun win or lose, but ill be there rooting for my team regardless

I agree that we should all expect a drop-off from Carr/Rattler to Shough/Rattler; however, if the o-line manages to stay healthy (which is a challenge in itself), there is a chance we could have 1 of the better olines since Brees retired. If Fuaga flips to RT and plays as well as he did at LT; that will be a major improvement. Banks will need to live up to expectations at LT. If Penning continues to develop and can work on some weaknesses should be a mauler at LG. McCoy is great when he plays. Ruiz is good - great when McCoy is in the lineup, and drops significantly when McCoy is out. There are A LOT OF IFs here, but at the same time these "IFs" are not unreasonable.

Again, "IF" the oline drastically improves, the running game will get better, and you should see progression with whether it's Shough/Rattler. Which should lead to improvement as the season goes on. How that impacts the W-L column will obviously depend on the QB making teams actually care about the passing game, and the defense not falling off of the AARP cliff.
