Yep that would have been a great pick. At the time I think they thought they were in good shape with crawley and lattimore. Not knowing that crawley would fall off a cliff the next year

Bunch of idiot right here. If Hendrickson is meh because of all these reasons you stated then Davenport is garbage. More injuries than Hendrickson without the stats.
ETA: By the way "lots" of players don't come in 2nd in the NFL in sacks just because it's a contract season. Stupidity is rampant

He won't. He has the benefit of playing on one of the best DLines in the NFL. If some team with an average DLine picks him up and asks him for 14 sacks, I don't believe they'll ever see 10.

People have been saying what the Saints can't do due to the salary cap for over a decade now and all Loomis does is keep signing people to contracts.

If we're projected 75-100mil over the cap, let's say it's nearly impossible to pay Hendrickson without losing talent

Henrickson has accomplished what we drafted Davenport to do and that is QB sacks.

Would trading Jordan be an option? Just putting this out there. He's been a very consistent DE for us, but Davenport and Hendrickson have more years ahead of them than behind them, Cam's the opposite. Why let a player with 10 years left walk out the door when there's one with 4 years left there too.

Need to sign him , he was the best defender we had on this years team. Brown and both Jenkins can go to keep Hendrickson and FA or 2.
