They drafted AJ Jenkins in the 1st last season.

really no shite. 49ers aren't even in true possession of the chiefs pick till march something (by the way they traded a pick a month before the draft). So really, you aren't bringing shite to my table.

i can see them trading up with us to get kenny Vaccaro

15th pick in the draft, they can consolidate some picks for upper echelon quality.
Why don't we just stay put and pick the upper echelon quality?

At 15, the only talent worth taking would be a premier pass rusher(Jordan, Mingo, Ansah, Jones). If we address that in free agency, then we don't have to worry with a project which all of these guys will be. Our next big need would be in the secondary or at left tackle. The top tackle prospects (Joeckel, Fisher, Johnson) will, most likely, all be off the board by 15. So, the talent + need we could get at 15 would be around the same we would get at 31. Toss in a few more picks for rounds 2 and 3, and you can fill more needs or just go BPA. This draft is a really deep one. Not a lot at the top, but the talent between late 1st round into the 3rd round is pretty close.

Yeah, we don't need any of those "pass rusher" guys!

#15 for #31 + 34= 10% value gain for the Saints. Reasonable.
Draft Pick Calculator
Current word is that they are gonna let Dashon Goldson hit the market. Kenny Vacarro would be a nice replacement.
Their pass defense was exposed in the playoffs. They certainly could upgrade CB across from Rogers.
Sopoaga is aging and they Francois could likely get a better deal and more playing time elsewhere (like NOLA). Some quality DTs to be had.
For the Saints it comes down to how you grade who is on the board. I think Mingo or Jarvis Jones look likely. They couldn't pass if you grade them as a high impact pass rusher.
At 31-34 you'd be looking at:
OLB- Okafor, maybe Montgomery if you thought he could play there, some think Damontre Moore could fall that far
NT- small chance for Jenkins, Jesse or Sylvester Williams
Safety- a good range for Matt Elam or Eric Reid
CB- Tufant, Banks could fall that far
ILB- Ogletree or Teo could be in that range
