Realize only 32 OC jobs but Kubiak couldn’t have liked what he saw on o-line and wr before he interviewed. I wonder if he asked for upgrades after getting the job.

Mason Tipton missing most of camp and not playing in preseason and still making the team (for now) has me incredibly intrigued by what they saw

Underhill said he showed enough in his limited time that he would almost definitely not clear waivers. Somebody would put him on their 53. Apparently he was really high on several teams list of UDFAs and they were pretty bummed the Saints scooped him up.
But is he gonna actually be ready to play soon?

He was cooking our starting DBs pretty regularly, whatever that is worth. His college tape has some Olave to it. Ran 4.3 at his pro day. May be the most intriguing part of this sad roster

Honestly silver linings is what we realistically should be looking for as fans. This season, and possibly next, are just throwaway seasons where maybe we catch lightning and compete for a weak playoff spot, but mostly we're just trying to find young talent that can be a part of the future when this team gets to the other side of the overhaul without DA and Carr. So we have to hope a guy like Tipton can be a Willie Snead or Lance Moore type guy for this offense for 5-7 years.
