So paid to talk sports. Can't do some basic research before talking about only 32 people. And the biggest knock is the 2 first names?
It is true that he has the personality of a pet rock, but to say he hasn't done anything in the "5 years he's been the coach", even after they did the basic wiki search? I also don't buy the fact that people would think Payton is still with the Saints, if he stayed retired you may have some casual NFL fans mixed up.

Just based off his interviews when he was DC and his time coaching the Raiders I knew he’s not head coach material. Yiu can bump his original hire thread and I said a bunch of times he ain’t it to a pile of downvotes.
In 5 years of head coaching he hasn’t gotten a team to the playoffs.
And yet we giving him a 6 th year. That’s what he’s accomplished….

what would you say he's done?
Even with the easiest schedule in the NFL he couldn't make the playoffs. That's his ceiling.

It’s the fact that they admitted to using wiki to discuss him, and couldn’t figure out that this will be his 10th year with the team or only his 3rd as HC.
But, to DA’s credit he did build a very solid Defense for the last few years he was DC. His problem on that side of the ball is depth and age
